Consultation and assessment
Your consultation and assessment will take place in the sports therapy studio, where you will be asked a few questions regarding your health and medical background, with particular emphasis on your current condition. All information will remain confidential, and all records are kept securely. If for any reason your information is to be shared with another health-professional, it will only be done so with your full consent.
Your assessment will begin with a biomechanical and gait analysis, where your natural movements will be observed. This will be followed by a simple series of joint and muscular tests, to assess your current state of alignment, strength, stability and flexibility. Once the assessment is concluded, further rehabilitation sessions, which include a prescriptive exercise programme can be arranged.
Rehabilitation sessions
Following your consultation, you will be advised to book a series of rehabilitation sessions, which will put you on a gradual path to your recovery. These sessions are only to be used in conjunction with the prescriptive exercise programme, which will be written for you personally, and which must be followed in between the rehabilitation sessions. The rehabilitation sessions serve as a ‘check-point’ for your recovery progress, and the aim is to see in improvement from week to week as you work through your programme. If the programme requires the use of any equipment at home, this will be sourced for you at the studio.

Core stability training sessions
Wake up your core with a session of intense exercises designed to improve your core strength, posture and alignment. This can be done as a one-to-one or couples session in the private studio. The sessions are tailor made to your individual ability with adjustments made where necessary.
Cardio and core circuit sessions
Enjoy a circuit training session with bursts of high energy cardio and core stability, tailored to your individual ability and level. This session can be one-to-one or up to four participants in the private studio. Great fun to do with friends.
Gentle flow yoga sessions
Settle into a space of peace and tranquility, using your breath as a guide, follow the flow of a gentle yoga session, designed to improve flexibility, core strength and reduce stress. These sessions are for complete beginners as well as those who have done yoga before, and are offered in the private studio as one-to-one or couples sessions.
